Qualified
Returns:
If the return is due to a packing error, damage, defect
or any error on our part:
A shipping label and/or instructions for returning the merchandise will
be provided to you. You will not incur costs with the return however you
must first obtain a valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number
from us, prior to returning merchandise. To obtain a RMA # indicate your
order number, state the reason for return and provide the product name and
number of each item being returned.
You
may request a RMA # by clicking here and completing a submission form.
If you do not have access to a personal computer or the internet send a
written request which contains this same information to: Down to Earth Products,
RMA Request, 3541 Struble Rd Ste 100, Cincinnati OH, 45251-4947.
If you elect to return items to us without first
obtaining an RMA #, your return will be processed in accordance with the
provisions outlined in Non-Qualified Returns.
If more than 30 days have elapsed since the product was received by you,
it cannot be returned for any reason. |

All merchandise
must be in a new, unopened and resalable condition to qualify for return.
We do not accept any return of opened merchandise. |

Non-Qualified Returns:
If the return is for a reason other than mentioned
in Qualified Returns
or the return is your elective return to us:
You are solely responsible for ensuring the safe and verifiable
transportation of the merchandise to us. This means you incur all
shipping costs and responsibility. We will refund you the original purchase price minus actual shipping,
handling and packing fees that we originally incurred (this is the
actual shipping cost, not the standard amount that may be shown on an
invoice or provided to you for FREE); additionally a 10% restocking fee
will apply for each returned item. If
we receive returned items that became damaged during shipment we will notify
you so that you may file a damage claim with your carrier. Any claim for
damage is your responsibility, and we offer no guarantee that you will receive
compensation. We will not issue credit for items received as
damaged during shipment. Additionally,
if the items returned to us are in a condition other than
new, unopened and resalable, or outside
of the terms stated here, we will dispose of the items and credit will not
be issued by us for those items. If more than 30 days have elapsed since
the product was received by you it cannot be returned for any reason. All
returns must reference the original order number and are subject to our
inspection prior to any credit. |

Special Order Returns:
Return of any Special Order merchandise which includes
custom dropcloths and tarpaulins:
If we have made an error on your special order item, the problem will be
resolved at no charge to you. If you have inadvertently made an error in
your Special Order, we are unable to issue a RMA # or refund due to the
costs associated with multiple product vendors/manufacturers and their policies.
Therefore, we encourage you to thoroughly review all special orders and
notify us of any discrepancies prior to fulfillment. |

Item Exchanges:
We do not permit exchange of items without a bona
fide, valid reason:
If you wish to exchange an item, you should return the item in accordance
with the instructions in Non-Qualified Returns and
place a new and separate order for the new items you desire. We do not provide
credit to you for shipping & handling on exchanged items. |

Shipping Address
and Lost or Delayed Shipments:
If a package is sent to an incorrect or invalid shipping
address due to our error, we will reship the items to you at our expense
or offer you a refund in full to the original payment method. |

Please proofread your order. We assume
no responsibility for lost or delayed shipments related to an incorrect
or invalid shipping address provided by you. If your package is delivered
to an incorrect or invalid shipping address that you supplied we will make
a valiant attempt to recover the merchandise by way of issuance of a call
tag to the delivered address. However we make no offer or guarantee that
the package will be recovered and you remain responsible for all billing,
shipping and merchandise costs related to the delivery. Should your package
ultimately be recovered and returned to us, we will contact you for corrected
information at which time you will be billed a second shipping charge for
re-delivery. If you choose not to have the items redelivered, we will process
any credit as a refused delivery and credit will
be issued for the product value only. Should the package never be recovered,
you are still responsible for all merchandise and shipping costs if the
incorrect or invalid shipping address was provided by you. |

Incorrect
Items:
If you determine that you have received incorrect
items in your order we will arrange to retrieve the merchandise and reship
the correct items to you. |

If you received the incorrect
items because you ordered the wrong merchandise, placed an incorrect item
in your shopping cart or decided the received items are not what you had
intended, please follow the instructions in Non-Qualified
Returns. |

We settle an
incorrect item dispute by reviewing the
original order submitted by you and/or checking our e-commerce store for
error if necessary. If no errors are found, then you have no valid claim
for Qualified Return against us. |

Order Cancellation:
If you need to cancel your order you must do so immediately. Most orders
ship within 1 to 24 hours after receipt. This leaves little time to
cancel or adjust an order once submitted. We can be reached by telephone

Once items have been shipped and are in an in-transit
status with the delivery carrier we are unable to cancel, re-route or change
the order in any manner. Follow procedures for
Refused Delivery if necessary. |

Refused Delivery:
Should you choose to refuse delivery we will refund the original purchase
price minus actual shipping, handling and packing fees (this is the actual
amount, not the amount that you were charged or that was provided as a FREE
service to you), provided the merchandise is returned to us in new,
unopened and resalable condition. We offer no other form of credit or reimbursement
for refused deliveries. |

Expectations:
Be aware that we will not credit you for product that did not live up to
your expectations. As every application and situation is different, we do
not accept returns for this reason. Many products are available throughout
the site in small quantities or sample sizes.
If you have never used the product before, we encourage you to choose the
smaller quantity or sample size to be certain the product meets or exceeds
your expectations. |
