Modern Masters® Metallic Paint colors are an elegant alternative to ordinary latex paint. Just substitute ordinary latex with one of the beautiful shimmering metallic paints shown here. You need neither artistic talent nor special skills to transform your project from ordinary to extraordinary.  Best of all these non-tarnishing Metallic Colors are water-based, non-toxic and can easily be cleaned up using soap and water.  Application method is by brush, roller or spray.

Metallic Paint Collection™ colors can be brushed, rolled, or sprayed onto any paintable, properly primed, interior or exterior surface, such as walls, ceilings, columns, trim, doors, furniture, and paintable wallcoverings. Check the side of the paint label for hide and coverage characteristics. Opaque colors have excellent hide; two coats are recommended for best results. Semi-opaque colors have good hide; three coats are recommended for best results. Sheer colors are translucent overcoats that impart luster to traditional paints, other Metallic Paint colors, or faux finishes and broken colors. Always test the product in a small, inconspicuous area before beginning a project to see if the desired results are attained. Stir the paint well before using.

Modern Masters® Metallic Paint Collection™ colors cover approximately 320-400 sq. ft./gallon.  Do not apply in temperatures below 58°F/14°C.  Real metallic particles, mica and traditional pigments were combined to create this palette of beautiful, shimmering colors.  Do not apply metallic paint colors over slick, glossy or top-coated surfaces; apply ONLY onto properly primed surfaces.  Product dries to a non-yellowing, semi-gloss finish.

MasterClear™ Protective Clear Topcoat is a  water-based acrylic/polyurethane  specially formulated to protect interior and exterior surfaces painted with the non-reactive metallic paint colors shown here. High traffic and other area's may require a protective clear topcoat. This improves washability, reduces rub-off and helps maintain the metallic shimmer of the paint. Available in two sheens Satin and Semi-gloss; Satin is particularly suited for lower-gloss colors and Semi-gloss for higher-gloss colors. MasterClear™ helps to provide the highest resistance possible to damaging ultra-violet radiation. Formulated with UV absorbers and inhibitors, mar and slip aids, flatteners, wetting and rheology modifying agents MasterClear™ offers you paint protection superior!

The Metallic Paint Roller offers many features that cannot be found in ordinary rollers. This roller is made from high-quality, European fabric that creates an even stippled finish with beveled edges that help prevent lapping.  The metallic paint roller can last 10 times longer than conventional roller covers and is designed with special end caps that prevent slipping. Fits standard 9in roller frame.

Extender for Rolling is necessary when applying Modern Masters Metallic Paint colors with a roller. Due to the high solids and low VOC content in the Metallic Paint, the addition of a slow-dying extender is necessary to increase the wet-edge time. The extender will not thin or compromise the integrity of the paint and will allow up to 40 minutes open time for creating decorative effects
